What makes our Natural Artisan Bar Soap different compared to other mainstream soaps on the market? To start, ours is completely natural, contains no palm oil, animal products, and is not tested on animals! In addition to that, our soap is 100% fair trade, even the mica. That means that the workers who made the ingredients (and the soap!) were paid a fair wage and treated well.
What else makes makes us different? Most mainstream soap bars are filled with animal tallow (eewww!!), artificial fragrances, dyes, harmful preservatives, and other unnessesary ingredients. They are also pumped out in large factories and can sit in storage for months or years before reaching you. But ours isn't that way at all! We make our soaps by hand with love and care in small batches to ensure our customers have the freshest soap possible. We use a blend of plant-based saponified Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil (we are phasing this out), Mango Butter, Avocado Oil, Rice Bran Oil, and Castor Oil to gently cleanse, moisturize, and soothe skin. We don't use palm oil because it's destructive to animals and the planet. All of our fragrances are 100% naturally derived. We use pure organic essential oils and a few skin safe fragrance oils (scents that contain fragrance oils are denoted with an *). You can check out the description for each of the scents here. For the coloring, we use all-natural fair trade mica to create beautiful unique designs. All of our soaps are free of preservatives, chemicals, synthetics, parabens, and sulfates. We also infuse the olive oil with Chamomile, Calendula, Yarrow, Rosemary & Plantain to reduce inflammation and heal dry skin/other skin issues. We also recently started adding kaolin clay because it's great for exfoliation, softening skin, improving circulation, and cleaning pores. Our Artisan Soap Bars are one of our best-sellers.
