DIY Fall Reed Diffuser

Fill your home with the delicious scent of fall (naturally) with this DIY Reed Diffuser recipe from One Essential Community! There's no need for store bought artificial fragrances when you can make your favorite blends with just a few essential oils. Mulled cider and pumpkin spice latte sound awesome!
Ingredients

Narrow Opening Glass Vase

5-8 Wooden Reeds
-
8 oz or larger Mason Jar
-
40-50 drops Essential Oil
-
½ Tbs. light oil (apricot kernel oil, safflower oil, or
sunflower oil) -
½ cup Everclear
Directions
Add essential oils and light oil to a mason jar. Stir well.
Add Everclear to mason jar.
Put lid on and shake well to mix.
Add mixture to a narrow opening glass vase.
Trim reeds to desired length and add to vase. Then, fan out the reeds.
After a few hours, flip the reeds so that the oil will travel upwards. After 24 hours, flip again. Then, flip every few days to refresh scent.
Replace the mixture once it has evaporated and replace the sticks about once a month.
